FAQs
Get quick answers to the most common questions about Rox.
What is Rox's pricing model based on?
Rox's pricing model combines outcome-based and usage-based pricing.
We charge for the value our AI agents deliver through measurable results, rather than just for the underlying data processing.
This means you only pay for the specific outcomes achieved by Rox's AI agents, which are measured in units called "Agent Actions".
What is an agent action?
An Agent Action is the fundamental unit of measurement in Rox's pricing model.
Each task that Rox's AI agents perform—whether it's researching a prospect, creating a meeting brief, or providing timely customer insights—is counted as a specific number of Agent Actions.
Every outcome is associated with a defined Rox Actions cost, ensuring that pricing is transparent and aligned with the value you receive.
What tasks do Rox's AI agents perform, and how are they metered?
Rox AI agents perform various tasks, including account research, people insights, pipeline generation, and meeting briefs.
Each task requires a specific number of Agent Actions, which are measured based on the resources used, including the type of model and the data processed.
This measurement ensures accurate billing that reflects the level of insight provided.
Why do some tasks require more agent actions than others?
The number of Agent Actions assigned to each task reflects the complexity and cost of the underlying processes.
Tasks that require more advanced AI models, greater data processing, or more detailed outputs consume more resources, leading to a higher Agent Action count.
Why would I choose the Individual plan if the features are the same?
The Core plan is intended for users who need to handle a larger volume of tasks.
If you frequently reach the Agent Action limit on the Starter plan, upgrading to the Core plan will provide you with the additional capacity to perform more actions and derive greater value from Rox.
We are committed to giving users full access to all features and earning their business by demonstrating our value.
How will I know how many agent actions I've used?
Rox provides an agent activity log that outlines the actions taken by AI agents on your behalf.
You can track your usage for each action, including on-demand and continuous tasks, to see what contributes to your overall usage.
An admin view aggregates this information for easier organizational tracking.
How does the monthly subscription work for the Rox starter and Individual plans?
Both the Rox Starter and Core plans operate on a monthly subscription basis.
At the beginning of each billing cycle (on the renewal date), your monthly allotment of Agent Actions will be refreshed.
This ensures you have a full set of actions available to use each month.
What happens if you run out of agent actions before the month ends?
If you reach your Agent Action limit before the end of the month, Core plan users have the option to renew early.
This early renewal will immediately reset your Agent Actions, allowing you to continue using Rox without waiting for the next monthly cycle.
Starter plan users will still be able to access their existing information but will not be able to perform any tasks.
They will have to wait until their next monthly cycle to receive a new set of Agent Actions or upgrade to the Core plan.
Can I upgrade from the starter plan to the Individual plan mid-cycle?
Yes, you can upgrade from the Starter plan to the Core plan at any time.
When you upgrade, you’ll gain access to the Core plan’s higher Agent Action limit with the renewal date one month from the day of upgrade.
Will my unused agent actions roll over to the next month?
No, unfortunately unused Agent Actions do not roll over to the next month.
Any unused actions expire at the end of each billing cycle, and your allocation resets on the renewal date.
This policy applies to both the Starter and Core plans.
What happens if I cancel my Individual plan subscription mid-cycle?
If you cancel your Core plan subscription mid-cycle, you will still have access to your remaining Agent Actions until the end of the current billing period. After that, your account will revert to the Starter plan.
Can I control how many agent actions are used by always-on features like insights?
Yes, you can manage and reduce the number of Agent Actions consumed by always-on features like Insights by customizing their settings.
This lets you control what information the agents monitor and prioritize, helping you stay within your monthly Agent Action allowance.
